In many instances, I can solve the issues that are preventing your plotter from working with little more than a brief phone call. If you notice an error code on your plotter's display please make a note of it. Knowing about error codes will help get the repair process going so let's talk about those first. With just a little information I may be able to provide you with a recommended action from the manufacturer that will get you printing again without a service call. If for some reason I can't solve your plotter issue by phone I can always arrange a diagnostic repair call to your location. If your office is located in my service area, I charge $75.00 for a diagnostic call to cover my travel time from Mobile Alabama.
When I arrive at your office I usually get right to work. If your plotter is operational at all I will run any tests which the manufacturer of your plotter recommends to help me understand what is wrong. When I determine the cause of the problem I will go over my findings with you. If after we discuss the problem and, how much it will cost to repair, you should decide to proceed with a repair I will either order the necessary parts or repair the plotter if I have the parts in my car inventory. If you prefer to hold off on the repair I can provide you with a repair estimate that will be valid for 30 days. Should it turn out that a repair does not appear economically feasible I will let you know before I do any repairs. The decision to repair or not to repair is yours and I will not try and convince you otherwise. If you decide not to repair I only charge the diagnostic fee.
When the repair call is complete and everything is wrapped up you may find you have questions about things like driver installation, paper loading, and supplies. You can always feel free to call or email me to discuss the operational aspects of your particular plotter in addition to where you can purchase supplies for your machine. 22 years in the service business has allowed me to pull together a large number of providers, who can help with just about anything you may need in the way of parts, accessories, or supplies. Additionally, If you would like to consider a replacement for your current plotter I can help you with that as well.
